The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors is expected to take up a $46.1 million Microsoft enterprise agreement that was on the board's June 24 agenda Item 48.
The agreement covers the county's use of Microsoft products including Windows operating systems, Office applications, Exchange email, SharePoint, and Office 365 hosted services across all county departments Item 48. The current Microsoft agreement expires on July 31, 2026, making the renewal necessary to prevent disruption in authorized software licensing.
The contract is the result of work by a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement Subcommittee led by the county's Enterprise Technology and Innovation department, with representatives from the Attorney's Office, Sheriff's Office, Clerk of the Superior Court, Superior Court, Transportation, and the Assessor's Office Item 48.
The total not-to-exceed amount of $46,146,911 covers three fiscal years from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2029. The agreement includes Windows Server technologies, Windows Desktops, and Office 365 hosted services for all county departments and agencies Item 48.
The item was on the June 24 Formal Meeting agenda, where the board also took up more than 100 other items including agreements for workforce development services, federal grant awards, and infrastructure projects across the county.
