5. RESOLUTION REGARDING THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF MARICOPA COUNTY Approve a resolution restructuring the Housing Authority of Maricopa County, and elect by majority vote the Board of Supervisors as Commissioners, to be known as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of Maricopa County. In addition, the intergovernmental agreement (IGA) C-06-3-013-2, and all related amendments, shall be redrafted and refreshed. With this action, an Advisory Committee of the Housing Authority shall be established to advise the Board of Commissioners on the operations and management of the Housing Authority. 33. AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION REGARDING THE RESTRUCTURING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF MARICOPA COUNTY Amend the resolution adopted by the Board on December 13, 2010, (C-06-11-189-M-00) regarding the Restructuring of the Housing Authority of Maricopa County. This amendment clarifies that the number of committee members on the Advisory Committee will be nine (9) members. In addition, the amendment changes the appointment authority from the Board of Supervisors to the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and clarifies that the County Employee member will be appointed by the County Manager. This amendment modifies Section 2 of the IGA to authorize the parties to enter agreement to create a nonprofit corporation for the purpose of obtaining low income tax credits pursuant to A.R.S. §36-1403(C). All other terms and conditions of the IGA shall remain in full force and effect. The amendment will be effective upon

8. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF MARICOPA COUNTY Approve amendment No. 1 to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the Housing Authority of Maricopa County. This amendment modifies Section 2 of the IGA to authorize the parties to enter agreement to create a nonprofit corporation for the purpose of obtaining low income tax credits pursuant to A.R.S. §36-1403(C).
