A-2. LIMITED WAIVER CONFLICT OF INTEREST FOR KAREN GAYLORD, RONNIE HAWKS, AND JANIS BLADINE OF JENNINGS HAUG & CUNNINGHAM, LLP Approve a request for a limited waiver of the conflict of interest, to the extent it exists, for Karen Gaylord, Ronnie Hawks, and Janis Bladine and the law firm of Jennings Haug & Cunningham, LLP for the limited purpose of providing legal representation, advice and counsel: (1) To Honeywell International Inc. regarding (a) the Motorola 52nd Street CERCLA site and (b) the Roosevelt Irrigation District (RID) litigation involving the West Van Buren WQARF site (Roosevelt Irrigation Dist. v. Salt River Project, 2:10-CV-00290-DAE-MHB (Az. Dist. Ct.). (2) To Honeywell or other clients in existing and potential administrative matters initiated by or related to the Maricopa County Air Quality Department. This limited waiver of conflict of interest shall not extend to any appeals of any kind, lawsuits, or claims filed on behalf of Honeywell, and adverse to Maricopa County without the informed consent of Maricopa County. This waiver is not intended to be an express or implied waiver of any other conflict which currently exists or may arise in the future. Discussed in executive session on December 12, 2011.
