8. DEANNEXATION FROM THE CITY OF CHANDLER AND ANNEXATION TO THE TOWN OF GILBERT - ORDINANCE 2384 & 4384 Pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-471.02, convene the scheduled public hearing regarding ordinances filed to deannexation/annexation of approximately 2.65 acres of Gilbert Road right-of-way, generally located between Pecos and Williams Field Roads, deannexation from the City of Chandler (Ordinance No. 2384) and annexation to the Town of Gilbert (Ordinance No. 4384). (Supervisorial District 1). Upon determining that the statutory requirements have been satisfied and upon the holding of the public hearing, order that the territory be deannexed from the City of Chandler and that the same territory be annexed to the Town of Gilbert as specified in the two ordinances.
