79. CANCELLATION OF ELECTION AND APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO THE WESTERN MEADOWS IRRIGATION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS Pursuant to A.R.S. §16-410(A) and the letter received from the Western Meadows Irrigation District: 1. Cancel the election scheduled to be held on November 10, 2015; 2. Appoint Ray Davis who filed a nominating petition to fill the expired term. The appointed director shall serve a three year term effective January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2018, or until his/her successor is elected and qualified. A person who is appointed pursuant to A.R.S. §16-410(A) is fully vested with the powers and duties of the office as if elected to that office. Supervisorial District 3. (C-06-16-145-M-00)
