95. IMPACT STATEMENT FOR THE PROPOSED AVONDALE COUNTY ISLAND FIRE DISTRICT 1) Pursuant to A.R.S. § 48-851(A), receive the impact statement for the proposed Avondale County Island Fire District located in the City of Avondale municipal planning area and set a public hearing for 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2016. At the hearing on August 17, 2016, the Board will hear those who appear for and against the proposed county island fire district and shall determine whether the creation of the district will promote public health, comfort, convenience, necessity or welfare. If the Board of Supervisors determines that public health, comfort, convenience, necessity or welfare will be promoted; it shall approve the county island fire district formation impact statement and authorize the proponents to circulate petitions as provided by statute. The proposed Organizing Board Members are: 1. Stanley Crisher 2. Matthew Gale 3. Rebecca Haro The boundaries of the proposed county island fire district will be those unincorporated county areas within the City of Avondale's Municipal Planning Area (MPA) as set forth and shown on the attached map. The county island fire district will include 877 unincorporated parcels located within Avondale's MPA. (Supervisorial Districts 4 and 5). (C-06-17-005-M-00)
