CANCELLATION OF ELECTION AND APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE QUEEN CREEK IRRIGATION DISTRICT Pursuant to A.R.S. §16-410(A) and the letter received from the Queen Creek Irrigation District: 1. Cancel the election scheduled to be held on November 14, 2017; 2. Appoint Steven Sossaman who filed nomination papers to fill the expired term. The appointed Director shall serve a three year terms effective January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2020, OR until his/her successor is elected and qualified. A person who is appointed pursuant to A.R.S. §16-410(A) is fully vested with the powers and duties of the office as if elected to that office (Supervisorial District 1). (C-06-18-162-M-00)
