127. 2019 ELECTIONS WORK GROUP RECOMMENDATIONS Receive and place on file the final report of the Elections Work Group presented during a Special Meeting on May 20, 2019. Adopt the recommendations as amended in the attached exhibit bearing the title, “Final List of Recommendations”. Any actions related to adopted recommendations requiring funding or contractual commitments will be presented to the Board for review and consideration. On January 16, 2019, with the support of the County Recorder, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved directing the County Manager to form a work group to gather and compile information necessary to prepare a set of recommendations regarding the structure, staffing and technology resources of the Elections Department. The intent of the work group is to offer recommendations that support a trusted, best-in-class elections experience while being fiscally responsible. (C-06-19-529-M-00)
