19. APPOINTMENTS TO THE MARICOPA COUNTY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD Request approval for the following appointments to the Maricopa County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) as set forth below: 1. Appoint the following individual to the Business category for the term effective upon approval through June 30, 2020 (to complete the open term) and the term July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023. Loren Granger, AVP Corpor ate Recruiter, Bank of America 2. Appoint the following individual to the Workforce category for the term effective upon approval through June 30, 2023: Stan Chavira, Secretary-Treasurer, United Food & Commercial Workers - Local 99 The MCWDB is established and receives its authority in accordance with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which was signed into law on July 22, 2014 as Public Law 113-128. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (BOS) shall have final authority. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approves the appointments and accepts the resignations of MCWDB members.
