17. IMPACT STATEMENT HEARING FOR THE PROPOSED TONKA VISTA IRRIGATION WATER DELIVERY DISTRICT - There is a request to withdraw the impact statement Pursuant to A.R.S. § 48-261 and § 48-263, convene the scheduled public hearing on the impact statement for the proposed Tonka Vista Irrigation Water Delivery District. The Board of Supervisors will hear those who appear for and against the proposed district and shall determine whether the creation of the district will promote public health, comfort, convenience, necessity, or welfare. If the Board determines that the public health, comfort, convenience, necessity, or welfare will be promoted, it shall approve the district impact statement, a bond of $250, and authorize the persons proposing the district to circulate petitions within the following proposed boundaries of the district: The South 35.50 Feet of Lot 1, and Lots 11 through 44, of TONKA VISTA, a Subdivision of the South half of the South half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 2 North, Range 3 East, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian according to the Plat of Record in the Office of the County Recorder of Maricopa County, Arizona, Recorded in Book 52 of Maps, Page 27; TOGETHER WITH That part of the West 20 feet of 20th Street, as shown on and dedicated by TONKA VISTA, according to the Plat of Record in the Office of the County Recorder of Maricopa County, Arizona, Recorded in Book 52 of Maps, Page 27; lying between the North line of the South 12.5 feet of Lot 25 of said TONKA VISTA and the North line of the South 172.5 feet of said Lot 25; EXCEPT that part of said South 20 feet described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said West 20 feet, Thence Westerly along the South line of said West 20 feet a distance of 10 feet, Thence Northeasterly to a point in the East line of said West 20 feet which bears 10 feet North of the POINT OF BEGINNING, Thence Southerly along said East line a distance of 10 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; as abandoned by RESOLUTION NO. 20735 of the City of Phoenix, recorded at 2008-0957665, records of Maricopa County, Arizona.
