20. IGA WITH GILA BEND UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT Approve and execute an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County and Gila Bend Unified School District for improving a softball field. Gila Bend owns certain real property which is located at the SW corner of Logan Ave. and Richards St. that is used as a softball field and the property is in a state of disrepair. Gila Bend desires that improvements be made to the property for the public to use and enjoy. Maricopa County desires to use a portion of Community Solutions Funding (CSF) for improvements to the Property. The County shall pay for the improvements of the property in an amount not-to-exceed $1,325,000.00. This Agreement shall become effective as of the date it is fully executed and shall expire on the date of County’s written notification to Gila Bend of Final Completion of the Improvements. Any Party may terminate this Agreement upon furnishing the other Party with a written notice at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective termination date. This property is located in Supervisor District 5 (C-06-23-732-X-00)
