26. EXEMPTION TO THE POST EMPLOYMENT HEALTH PLAN ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM Approve an exemption to the FY 2009-10 Post Employment Health Plan Enhancement Program (PEHPEP) requirement to delete twelve positions being vacated as a result of employees' participation in the plan. The Adult Probation Department will need to rehire for the following positions: Probation Officer PCNs 00057, 00092, 00112, 14359, 15748, 17368, 31309, 31700, and 64112; Surveillance Officer PCNs 19074 and 32973; and Probation Officer Supervisor PCN 31717 PCNs 00057, 00092, 00112, 14359, 15748, 17368, 31309, 31700, 64112, 19074, and 32973 were vacated as a result of the previous incumbents' participation in the FY10 Post Employment Health Plan Enhancement Program (PEHPEP). These positions are required for the appropriate supervision of probationers in various adult probation programs. PCN 31717 was vacated as a result of the previous incumbent's participation in the FY10 Post Employment Health Plan Enhancement Program (PEHPEP). This position is required to supervise a unit of adult probation officers. Due to the incumbents' retirements, the department will achieve approximately $126,677 in savings for FY11 as required by the PEHPEP. (C-11-10-011-M-00)
