23. ONE-TIME ADDITION TO THE FLEET, EXEMPTION FROM MARKINGS, AND ISSUANCE OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL LICENSE PLATE Approve a one time addition to the fleet of a vehicle to be purchased by the Adult Probation Department for a total cost not to exceed $24,000.00. This vehicle will be purchased using operating funds that exist within this Department’s General Fund (100). Also, approve an exemption from markings and issuance of a non-governmental license plate per A.R.S. 38-538.03 because, similar to the vehicle it replaces, 521216, this vehicle will be used by this Department for the supervision and surveillance of felony probationers residing in the community. Markings are detrimental to the mission. This will be a take home vehicle because surveillance is not a regularly scheduled assignment with set hours. The vehicle information including make, model, year, color and VIN number will be provided to the Clerk of the Board upon approval of this agenda and purchase of the vehicle. (C-11-14-003-V-00)
