23. CONTINGENCY FUNDS FOR ADULT PROBATION STAFFING In accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), approve the following adjustments to the FY 2025 budget: 1. Increase expenditure authority in the Adult Probation (D110) General Fund (100) Operating (OPER) budget by $1,422,540. 2. Increase the expenditure authority in the Superior Court (D800) General Fund (100) Operating (OPER) budget by $9,100. 3. Decrease the expenditure authority in the Non Departmental (D470) General Fund (100) Operating (OPER) budget in the line “Adult Probation Position Contingency” (4711) by $1,431,640 Contingency funding for Adult Probation staffing based on caseload growth was requested and set aside in the FY 2024 budget for thirteen (13) Probation Officer positions. Contingency funding for Adult Probation staffing was also set aside in FY 2025. Caseload growth indicates the additional thirteen positions are needed. The Branch can absorb the FY 2024 costs for the growth positions. However, the Branch is requesting funding for the operating costs for positions in the FY 2025 budget. (C-11-24-010-X-00)
