60. APPLY AND ACCEPT URBAN AREA SECURITY INITIATIVES RESOURCE DATABASE COMPILATION GRANT Approve and accept the grant award from the State of Arizona Department of Homeland Security for the Urban Area Security Initiatives (UASI) Resource Database Compilation for FY12 in the amount of $100,00.00. The grant award begins on June 1, 2011 and ends May 31, 2012. Authorize the Director to sign all documents associated with the grant. MCDEM’s indirect cost rate for this grant is 13.8%. Indirect costs of $13,800.00 are unallowable and will be absorbed in the Department’s Emergency Management Fund (215) current appropriation. Approve an increase revenue and expenditure appropriation to the Department of Emergency Management (150) Emergency Management Fund (215) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) in the amount of $100,000. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-17105. (C-15-11-016-M-00)

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR URBAN AREA SECURITY INITIATIVES RESOURCE DATA BASE COMPILATION Approve Amendment No. 1 to an Agreement between Arizona Department of Homeland Security (777812-02) for Urban Area Security Initiatives (UASI) Resource Data Base Compilation and Maricopa County through the Department of Emergency Management. The purpose of this amendment is to extend grant end date. This amendment is non-financial and is effective from June 01, 2011 until February 28, 2013. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect. (C-15-11-016-M-01)

39. AMENDMENT TO URBAN AREA SECURITY INITIATIVES RESOURCE DATABASE COMPILATION GRANT Approve Amendment No. 2 to the Subgrantee Agreement Grant No: 777812-0, for the Urban Area Security Initiatives Resource Database Compilation, which extends the grant contract ending date from May 31, 2012 to May 31, 2013. All other provisions remain in effect. This grant is used for contracting a consultant familiar with multi-discipline response resources to work with all Urban Area Security Initiatives (UASI) jurisdictions to compile an electronic inventory of response resources from Law Enforcement, Fire, Public Works, Public Health, MMRS, HAZMAT disciplines that categorize within a "typing" structure. Data collected includes unit identifier and detail descriptions to allow typing within as many categories (NIMS, FEMA, WILDLAND, etc.) as possible. Specialized equipment not already Federally typed will be coordinated with the UASI Resource Sub-Committee and MMRS for standardized typing development within the region/state. (C-15-11-016-M-02)
