26. GRANT FUNDS FROM ARIZONA STATE HOMELAND SECURITY FOR MARICOPA COUNTY WHOLE COMMUNITY PLANNER POSITION Approve the application of grant funds from Arizona State Homeland Security (FFY13SHSGP), in the not-to-exceed amount of $73,000.00 for the purpose of the Maricopa County Whole Community Planner position. The grant award begins on October 1, 2013 and ends on September 30, 2014. Authorize the Director to sign all documents related to these grant funds, as applicable. The grant does not allow for recovery of indirect costs. The amount of unrecoverable Indirect cost is $8,979.00. The Maricopa County Department of Finance has calculated the Department of Emergency Management's composite indirect cost rate at 12.3% or $8,979.00. (C-15-13-008-M-00)
