24. ACCEPT GRANT FUNDS FOR MARICOPA COUNTY CENTRAL REGION WHOLE COMMUNITY PLANNER Accept grant funds from Arizona State Homeland Security, (FFY 2011 SHSGP-888200-04), in the not-to-exceed amount of $36,164.00 for the purpose of Maricopa County Central Region Whole Community Contract Planner. The grant award begins on May 1, 2013 and ends on April 30, 2014. Authorize the Director to sign all documents related to these grant funds, as applicable. The grant does not allow for recovery of indirect costs. The amount of unrecoverable Indirect cost is $4,882.00. The Maricopa County Department of Finance has calculated the Department of Emergency Management's composite indirect cost rate at 13.5% or $4,882.00. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-15-14-001-G-00)
