28. ACCEPT GRANT FUNDING FROM STATE OF ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY Accept the grant funds from Arizona State Homeland Security, (FFY 2013 Homeland Security Grant Program Award Sub Grant Agreement Number 130201-01), in the not-to-exceed amount of $36,836.00 for the purpose of Maricopa County Central Region Whole Community Contract Planner. The grant award begins on October 1, 2013 and ends on September 30, 2014. Authorize the Director to sign all documents related to these grant funds, as applicable. The grant does not allow for recovery of indirect costs. The amount of unrecoverable Indirect cost is $4,973.00. The Maricopa County Department of Finance has calculated the Department of Emergency Management's composite indirect cost rate at 13.5% or $4,973.00. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-15-14-005-M-00)
