37. GRANT FUNDS FROM ARIZONA STATE HOMELAND SECURITY FOR MARICOPA COUNTY WHOLE COMMUNITY PLANNER POSITION Approve the application of grant funds from Arizona State Homeland Security (FFY14SHSGP), in the not to exceed amount of $73,300.00 for the purpose of the Maricopa County Whole Community Planner position. The grant award begins on October 1, 2014 and ends on September 30, 2015. Authorize the Director to sign all documents related to these grant funds, as applicable. The grant does not allow for recovery of indirect costs. The amount of unrecoverable Indirect cost is $9,895.50. The Maricopa County Department of Finance has calculated the Department of Emergency Management's composite indirect cost rate at 13.5% or $9,895.50. (C-15-14-008-G-00)

AMENDMENT OF GRANT FUNDS FROM ARIZONA STATE HOMELAND SECURITY FOR MARICOPA COUNTY WHOLE COMMUNITY PLANNER POSITION Accept the grant funds from the Arizona State Homeland Security, (FFY 2014 State Homeland Security Grant Program- SHSGP), in the not-to-exceed amount of $73,255.00 for the purpose of the Maricopa County Whole Community Planner Position. The grant award begins on October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015. Authorize the Director to sign and submit quarterly reports as required by the grant. The grant does not allow for recovery of indirect costs. The amount of unrecoverable indirect cost is $9,889.43. The Maricopa County Department of Finance has calculated the Department of Emergency Management composite indirect cost rate at 13.5% or $9,889.43. Grant Revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditures limitation, and therefore, expenditures of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining of the local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. (C-15-14-008-G-01)
