36. AGREEMENT AND ACCEPT FUNDS FOR THE MARICOPA COUNTY MITIGATION PLAN Approve the acceptance of grant funds from the Arizona Division of Emergency Management, Grant No. PDMC-09-AZ-2013/EMF-2014-PC-0003, in the amount of $80,000.00. These grant funds are for the five year update to the Maricopa County Multi-Hazard, Multi-Jurisdictional Mitigation Plan. Authorize the Chairman to sign all documents related to these grant funds. The grant period for this grant begins on April 29, 2014 and ends on April 28, 2016. The Department of Emergency Management’s indirect cost rate as calculated by the Department of Finance for FY14 is 13.5%. Recoverable indirect costs are estimated at $9,515.42. The grant requires a 25% match ($26,675.00) which will be met through staff time spent on the plan, from time period for April 29, 2014 to April 28, 2016. Also, approve revenue and expenditure appropriation adjustments to the Department of Emergency Management (151) Emergency Management (215) associated with the grant in the amount of $80,000.00 for FY 2015. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-15-14-011-G-00)

37. AMENDMENT TO THE MARICOPA COUNTY MULTI-HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN GRANT Approve Amendment No. 1 to extend the County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan Grant PDMC-09-AZ-2013/EMF-2014-PC-0003 from April 29, 2014 to April 28, 2017. All other terms of the Original Sub Grantee Agreement remain effective. (C-15-14-011-G-01)
