MARICOPA COUNTY EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN Approve the Letter of Promulgation and the Approval and Implementation Letter by the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for the 2024 Maricopa County Emergency Operations Plan (MCEOP). The Letter of Promulgation is signed by the jurisdiction’s senior elected or appointed official(s). The Approval and Implementation Letter is a signed statement formally recognizing and adopting the plan as the jurisdiction’s all-hazards Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). The implementation letter introduces the plan, outlines its applicability, and indicates that it supersedes all previous plans. This update is primarily surrounding continuity of government to help the county meet national standards for emergency management as part of seeking national accreditation through the Emergency Management Assessment Program (EMAP) certification, and to meet provisions of state law related to continuity of government and emergency operations planning.
