2. CLERK OF SUPERIOR COURT POST EMPLOYMENT HEALTH ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM POSITION REQUEST Approve the creation of a classified position in the Clerk of Superior Court’s Office. This position request is necessary due to an employee’s participation in the 2010 Post Employment Health Enhancement Program (PEHPEP). The Clerk of Superior Court’s Office is reorganizing and requests that the position be created in a new market range title (MRT). The creation of this new position is necessary because of its role in managing the Clerk of the Superior Court’s budget. The following position in the Clerk of Superior Court was inactivated due to the incumbent’s participation in the 2010 PEHPEP. The position’s current attributes are as follows: PCN: 11151 MRT: Administrator Status: Classified Budgeted Rate: $41.76 Due to the nature of this position, the Clerk of the Superior Court’s Office finds it necessary to replace the position with a new position. The new position’s attributes will be as follows: MRT: Finance Supervisor - Dept Status: Classified Budgeted Rate: $43.57 The Clerk of the Superior Court’s Office will achieve the required savings either through hiring a new employee at a lower rate of pay than the retiring employee or through other means. This will result in $8,686 annual savings as required under the 2010 PEHPEP. (C-16-10-004-M-00)
