13. EXEMPTION TO THE POST EMPLOYMENT HEALTH PLAN ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM - CLERK OF THE SUPERIOR COURT Approve an exemption to the Post Employment (Retirement) Health Plan Enhancement Program (PEHPEP), approved by the Board of Supervisors on November 16, 2009, and allow Courtroom Clerk PCNs 00000542, 00011821, 00011257, and Courtroom Services Manager PCN 00000517 to remain active positions in the Clerk of the Superior Court (160). The Clerk's Office requests an exemption to the PEHPEP requirement that positions vacated as a result of program participation be inactivated, requests authorization to fill these positions through normal County processes, and requests that the positions be exempted from the FY 2009-10 Maricopa County Hiring Freeze. Also, approve an exemption to the PEHPEP in order to recruit for Courtroom Clerk PCNs 00000542, 00011821, 00011257 and Courtroom Services Manager PCN 00000517. Courtroom Clerk PCNs 00000542, 00011821, 00011257 were vacated when the incumbents chose to participate in the FY 2009-10 PEHEP.
