12. WAIVER TO PLACEMENT IN RANGE POLICY Approve an exception to the Maricopa County Placement in Range Policy (B7009) for the promotion of Lois Rees as Administrator in the Clerk of the Superior Court. The requested rate associated with the approval of this request is $37.50 ($78,000 annually) and will be fully funded within the department’s current budget this fiscal year and in subsequent fiscal years. This action is requested to be retroactive to March 7, 2011. The Clerk of the Superior Court requests an exception to this placement in range pay rate based on scope of responsibilities and overall department structure. Approval will not create any inequities or disparities among similar positions and supports the business needs of the agency. The requested rate is below the midpoint for this market range.
