This Contract is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The purpose of this agreement is to provide HOME American Dream Down Payment Initiative (ADDI) funds to the City of Peoria. This Agreement will allow for City of Peoria to use reprogrammed ADDI funds to assist three (3) low and moderate income homebuyers with down payment and closing cost assistance for low income households. The contract is effective April 1, 2014 to December 30, 2014. The housing activities shall meet all HOME Investment Partnerships Program requirements for the required period of affordability. There is no impact to the General Fund. Maricopa County is the lead agency for the Maricopa HOME Consortium. This Contract is initially funded through the Maricopa County HOME Consortium specifically C-17-08-001-AD-05 during FY2007-2008, and C-17-09-001-AD-02 and C17-09-001-AD-05 in FY 2008-2009 approved by the Board of Supervisors. Beginning FY13/14 HUD requires annual subrecipient agreements be executed for Maricopa HOME Consortium members. Therefore, a subrecipient agreement must be in place to reprogram prior year HOME-ADDI from 2008, and 2009 funds to the City of Peoria. (C-22-14-066-3-00)
