4. HOUSING AND ECONOMIC RECOVERY ACT H.R. 3221 - FUNDING ALLOCATION AND REGULATIONS Presentation regarding the Housing and Economic Recovery Act H.R. 3221 - Funding Allocation and Regulations. County staff will brief the Board on the CDBG-like funding that will be made available to Maricopa County to address the issue of vacant, foreclosed properties in the Urban County . Staff will identify the proposed funding amount; summarize the draft rules for usage of the funding; and provide an update on the actions taken to date to assess the needs and priorities of the Urban County , and identify potential partners.
