53. LICENSE TERMINATION WITH ARIZONA WATER COMPANY, LICENSEE Approve the termination of License Agreement (P-50154) by and between Arizona Water Company (Licensee) and Maricopa County (Licensor) for use of County property at 2445 W. Indianola, Phoenix and authorize Real Estate Division staff to give formal notice to the Licensee of the license termination. License P-50154, also sometimes referred to as License Agreement for Security Gate; allows the County the option to terminate the agreement, without penalty, upon ninety (90) day written notice to the Licensee. The termination will be effective on, or before August 31, 2017. The Agreement allows Licensee use of County property for parking, ingress and egress, and construction of a security gate. The security gate allowed in the agreement was never constructed. Termination of the license agreement is necessary due to impending construction of additional building space and vehicle parking, tentatively scheduled for October 2017 at the Black Canyon Adult Probation site located at 2445 West Indianola, Phoenix.
