49. REVISION TO FINANCE COUNTYWIDE POLICY Approve the revisions to the Finance prepared countywide policy A2508 – Receiving Donations. A2508 was originally adopted on September 21, 2005, C-18-06-016-6-00 (County), C-18-06-017-6-00 (Library District), C-18-06-018-6-00 (Flood Control District), and recently revised December 18, 2017. The current revision to this policy reflects minor clarifying changes for the Receiving Donations policy to be approved by the Board of Supervisors, allow departments to return or dispose of non-cash donations without BOS acceptance, and that donations of vehicles and equipment shall be reviewed and inspected by Equipment Services and items requiring a title and registration to be approved by the BOS. The Board of Supervisors is authorized to jointly adopt policies applying to the Special Districts under the Intergovernmental Agreement, C-06-18-393-6-00, approved on April 11, 2018.
