LICENSE TERMINATION WITH SILVER SPOON CAFÉ, LLC Approve the termination of License Agreement P-50120 (originally identified as MC10172), for the purpose of providing food and beverage services at 620 West Jackson Street (Downtown Justice Center), with Silver Spoon Café, LLC (Licensee), and authorize the Real Estate Department to give formal notice to the Licensee of the license termination. This item is located in Supervisorial District 5. Silver Spoon Café LLC informed the county on May 12, 2018 via email that they would not be able to comply with the Arizona Department of Economic Security Business Enterprise Program (BEP), a program that provides employment opportunities for legally blind individuals, and therefore has requested the termination of License P-50120. Silver Spoon Café, LLC was provided an opportunity to participate in the BEP but was unable to meet the requirement necessary to become a BEP vendor. License P-50120 allows the Licensor or Licensee the option to terminate the agreement, without penalty, with thirty (30) day written notice. Board approval of this agenda will terminate the license on July 13, 2018. (C-18-08-029-0-01)
