AMENDMENT TO LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH DISCOVERY WEST RANCHES PARTNERS Approve Amendment No. 2 to License Agreement P-50121 with Discovery West Ranches Partners to extend the term of the agreement by six months, through December 31, 2010, and to allow application of biosolids at the Southwest Regional Center site at 103rd Avenue and Van Buren Street in Avondale, Arizona; and authorize access to the subject site to federal, state and local regulatory staff as required for permitting the application of biosolids at the subject site. 50. AMENDMENT TO LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH DISCOVERY WEST RANCHES PARTNERS Approve and execute Amendment No. 3 to License Agreement No. P50121 between Discovery West Ranches Partners and Maricopa County for the purpose of farming County owned vacant agricultural land located at the Northwest corner of Van Buren and 103rd Avenue, Avondale, Arizona. Amendment No. 3 to License Agreement No. P-50121 extends the term of the license for 12 months. Maricopa County is afforded dust and weed control benefits through the licensee’s farming of the vacant land. Maricopa County retains the right to terminate the license with six-months written notice. (C-18-08-036-B-03)

49. AMENDMENT TO LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH DISCOVERY WEST RANCHES PARTNERS Approve and execute Amendment No. 4 to License Agreement No. P50121 between Discovery West Ranches Partners and Maricopa County for the purpose of weed and dust control of Maricopa County-owned land at the northwest corner of Van Buren and 103rd Avenue in Avondale, Arizona. The License Agreement will be at no cost to Maricopa County with the tenant paying all expenses generated by its use of the vacant land. The term of the License shall be for one (1) year commencing January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012. (C-18-08-036-B-04)

48. AMENDMENT TO LICENSE P-50121 WITH DISCOVERY WEST RANCHES PARTNERS Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute, Amendment No. 5 to License P-50121 with Discovery West Ranches Partners to extend the term of the agreement for five months and revise the use fee. Amendment No. 5 to License Agreement P-50121 will extend the expiration date to May 31, 2013. The Licensee will pay Maricopa County a revised use fee at an equivalent rate of $100 per year per usable acre. In addition, the Licensee will control weeds and dust at the Maricopa County-owned land at 103rd Avenue and Van Buren in Avondale, AZ. This item was continued from the November 28, 2012 meeting and has been revised. (C-18-08-036-B-06)
