72. TERMINATION OF MOU AND IGA WITH CITY OF PHOENIX Approve the Termination of Memorandum of Understanding and Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Phoenix and Maricopa County (Termination) and authorize the Chairman to execute all documents associated with the Termination. This item is located in Supervisor District 5. In furtherance of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the City of Phoenix and County entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA), for the purchase and sale of real property in downtown Phoenix. The IGA, known as City Contract 126696 (C18-09-033-8-00), which was recorded on August 17, 2009 in the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office (MCR) as Document No. 20090763325, as amended by an unrecorded Amendment No. 1 to the IGA (C18-09-033-8-01), which was dated April 13, 2011, and Amendment No. 2 to the IGA, known as City Contract 126696-2 (C18-09-033-8-02), which was dated December 10, 2014, and recorded on January 7, 2015 in the MCR as Document 20150008077. The purchase and sale transactions set forth in the IGA, as amended, have been completed and this agenda will terminate the IGAs upon full execution of the Termination.
