A-3. DECLARE PARCEL AS EXCESS AND SALE PROPERTY Pursuant to A.R.S. 11-251.9, declare as excess property and approve a Purchase/Sale Agreement (PSA) with Phoenix Animal Care Coalition for the sale of a Maricopa County-owned 2.73-acre parcel at 5231 N. 35th Avenue in Phoenix (APN 153-17-002-P) to be used for animal care and/or educational purposes. Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute, all documents associated with the sale of the subject property and the assignment of associated leases and licenses. THIS ACTION REQUIRES UNANIMOUS CONSENT OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS. The Purchase/Sale Agreement (PSA) sets the sale price for the subject property at an appraised value of $593,690. As part of the PSA, Lease MC-10180 with HALO/Helping Animals Live On, Inc. will be assigned to the new owner and the lease will continue through June 30, 2013, unless terminated earlier by mutual agreement of the landlord and tenant. Additionally, License P-50129 with Grand Canyon University will be assigned to the new owner. Phoenix Animal Care Coalition is a qualified charitable non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animal care and educational activities. (C-18-12-006-3-00)
