57. MARICOPA COUNTY POLICY FOR ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER (EFT) POLICY (POLICY A2512) Adopt a Maricopa County policy for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) (Policy A2512). The purpose of the EFT Policy is to provide for the appropriate usage and guidance for transfer of monies which includes wire transfers. The EFT Policy will strengthen internal controls for the disbursement of monies. The EFT Policy provides departments with the definition of EFT payments, including wire transfers, background information, and guidelines for the transfer of monies by wire transfer.
