37. IGA WITH MARICOPA COUNTY REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 509 Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Maricopa County Regional School District 509 (District) for the release of Judgment Lien, recorded March 24, 2008, Recorder’s NO. 2008-257332 in Maricopa County Recorder’s Office (“Release”) pertaining to real property at 6550 W. Orangewood Avenue, Glendale, AZ (the “Orangewood Property”). Authorize the Chairman to execute all documents, approved by Maricopa County Counsel, necessary to complete the subject release of Lien and sale of the Orangewood Property. The District owns real property at 6550 W. Orangewood Avenue in Glendale, Arizona, and has determined that it will not use the property as a school site. The District desires to sell the Orangewood Property. This IGA will authorize Maricopa County to release a Judgment Lien against the District (Recorder’s Number 2008-257332) in order to facilitate the sale of the Orangewood Property. Maricopa County is not required to execute the Release until after escrow has opened and Maricopa County has received a copy of the Settlement Statement and irrevocable escrow instructions. The net proceeds from the sale of the Orangewood Property will be distributed to the Arizona School Facilities Board pursuant to A.R.S § 15-2041(F). (C-18-13-009-3-00)
