38. LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH D. L. WITHERS FOR USE OF PROPERTY FOR CONSTRUCTION PARKING Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute, license agreement P-50226 between Maricopa County and D L Withers Construction, L.C. (DL Withers) for temporary use by D L Withers of parcels 112-05-090B, 112-05-091B, 112-05-092B and 112-05-093B between 8th and 9th Avenues, south of Jefferson Street in Phoenix, Arizona. The purpose of the subject license agreement is to allow D L Withers temporary use of the subject County-owned property for construction parking as part of the new Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Headquarters office building project. The term of the subject license agreement will be from the date of execution by the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors through December 31, 2013. The license fee is $1.00. (C-18-13-021-3-00)

57. AMENDMENT TO LICENSE AGREEMENT P50226 WITH D.L. WITHERS CONSTRUCTION, L.C. Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute, Amendment No. 1 to license agreement P-50226 between Maricopa County and D.L. Withers Construction, L.C. (D.L. Withers) for temporary use of parcels 112-05-090B, 112-05-091B, 112-05-092B, 112-05-093B, 112-05-080B, 112-05-081B, 112-05-096B, 112-05-097B and 112-05-098B for construction parking as part of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Headquarters Building project. Amendment No. 1 modifies the subject license agreement by adding to the premises the south half of the city block bounded by 8th Avenue on the east, 9th Avenue on the west, Madison Street on the south, and Jefferson Street on the north. The increased premises, as provided for under Amendment No. 1, will become effective upon execution of the amendment by the Chairman. (C-18-13-021-3-01)
