55. TRANSFER OF RIGHT OF WAY TO THE CITY OF SURPRISE In accordance with A.R.S. 11-251 (9), approve and authorize the Chairman to execute, the necessary documents to convey real property and grant a temporary construction easement within Maricopa County-owned parcels 501-18-019B and 501-18-051A to the City of Surprise (City) for right of way purposes. As part of a City sponsored sidewalk improvement project, the City is acquiring a 10 foot wide (approximate) strip of land along the north boundary of the County-owned land at Bell Road and Dysart Road (APN 501-18-019B and APN 501-18-051A) for right-of-way purposes. The total area of County land being acquired by the City is approximately 10,525 square feet. In addition to the conveyance of the right-of-way to the City, the County is granting the City a temporary construction easement. The temporary construction easement is approximately ten feet in width. The City is compensating the County the appraised value of the right of way and the appraised value of the temporary construction easement, which together total $82,011.00.
