27. IGA WITH CITY OF PHOENIX FOR COUNTY JAIL SERVICES AND FACILITIES Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) for County Jail Services and Facilities between Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and the City of Phoenix. The effective date of the IGA is July 1, 2013 and has a term of five years. Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) for County Jail Services and Facilities between Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and the City of Phoenix. This IGA serves as an understanding between our two governments in the following areas: term of the agreement, dates that the housing and per diem rates are established, how the billing will occur, performance requirements by the Sheriff and County, and medical and health care information.
