40. AUTHORIZE APPLICATION TO ARIZONA STATE LAND DEPARTMENT FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FACILITIES Approve application submittals to the Arizona State Land Department (ASLD), for obtaining authorization to establish Maricopa County wireless communication facilities at Vulture Mine (south of Wickenburg) and Little Picacho (east of Gila Bend). Also, authorize the Senior Manager of the County’s Wireless Radio Department to execute and process the subject application documents on behalf of Maricopa County. As part of the County’s Radio System Upgrade Project, the subject applications with the ASLD is the first step in establishing the County’s right to develop a wireless communications facility at Vulture Mine (south of Wickenburg) and Little Picacho (east of Gila Bend). As part of the ASLD application process, the County will also be required to pay for an appraisal, archeological, study, and associated auction cost. Subsequent Board of Supervisors agenda items will be submitted to obtain Board authorization for the auction cost for the subject sites. (C-18-14-011-3-00)
