30. PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH NEAL A. SUNKEES FOR PURCHASE OF PUBLIC SAFETY RADIO SITE NEAR MOBILE Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute, a Purchase Agreement with Neal A. Sunkees for the acquisition of approximately one acre of land identified as APN 300-26-021 for planned development as a new radio facility near Mobile, Arizona; and authorize the Chairman to execute all documents associated with this purchase. The County’s Radio System Upgrade Project has identified the need to develop a new transmit and receive radio facility in the Mobile area. The subject parcel APN 300-26-021 is a viable site for the subject public safety radio facility near Mobile. The purchase price of the subject parcel is $17,500. The County is responsible for title insurance and closing costs estimated not to exceed $7,500. A refundable earnest money deposit of $1,000 is required to open escrow and start a due diligence period through May 31, 2015. The earnest money deposit will become non-refundable after the completion of the due diligence period. Escrow would close on, or before, June 30, 2015. This land purchase supports the implementation of the County’s Radio System Upgrade Project. (C-18-15-005-3-00)
