33. JAIL PER DIEM CONSULTING RATE STUDY Pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17106(B), amend the FY 2018 Non Departmental (D470) Detention Operations Fund (255) budget to approve the transfer of expenditure authority as follows: a) Decrease the Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) Contingency (4711) budget in the amount of $59,565; b) Increase the Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) Other Programs (4712) budget in the amount of $59,565 in a new Line “Jail Per Diem Rate Study” These actions will have a County-wide net impact of zero. This adjustment is necessary to provide funding for a consultant to facilitate the FY19 Jail Per Diem rate calculation applicable to the booking and housing rates. The Department of Finance has periodically used a consultant to review the Jail Per Diem rates including any MCSO organizational changes, associated budgeted expenditures, and allocation methodologies, etc. (C-18-18-002-2-00)
