CONCURRENCE LETTER FOR REORGANIZATION OF THE CITY OF MESA FOREIGN TRADE ZONE NO. 221 UNDER THE ALTERNATIVE SITE FRAMEWORK Approve a “concurrence” letter for the City of Mesa’s request for the reorganization of Foreign Trade Zone No. 221 (FTZ No. 221) under the Alternative Sites Framework (ASF). The request for the change from the current Traditional Site Framework to an ASF will allow FTZ No. 221 to manage the entire planning area for the City of Mesa as their “service area”, instead of managing a geographic boundary. Authorize the Chairman to sign said “concurrence” letter. The letter will be directed to the Foreign Trade Zone No. 221 Administrator, City of Mesa, Office of Economic Development.
