Indirect costs are not applicable to Tribal Gaming Grants. Future ongoing cash contributions are not required after the grant period. The grant award is not a mandated function and the services provided by this grant benefit the general public , including public safety, mitigation of the impacts of gaming, or promotion of commerce and economic development. The grant award is competitively bid and determined by the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation. There are no costs that will need to be absorbed by the department’s operating budget. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. (C-18-22-141-X-00)
