8. OFFICIAL APPOINTMENTS AND OATHS OF OFFICE - COUNTY ATTORNEY 1. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-409, approve the official appointment of Myles A. Braccio as a Special Deputy County Attorney of the Maricopa County Attorney effective September 27, 2010. Authorize the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to certify the Official Appointment and Oath of Office in accordance with A. R. S. § 38-231, and to cause them to be filed with the County Recorder. Myles A. Braccio is an Assistant Arizona Attorney General and will participate in the Maricopa County Attorney new prosecutorial training program. This appointment will allow Mr. Braccio to attend court as part of his training and prosecute criminal cases on behalf of the County Attorney. This action will result in no cost to Maricopa County. 2. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-409, approve the official appointment of the following assistant of the Maricopa County Attorney. Authorize the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to certify the Official Appointment and Oaths of Office in accordance with A. R. S. § 38-231, and to cause them to be filed with the County Recorder. Effective October 18, 2010: Crystal Schriver, County Attorney H. R. Manager The County Attorney is an Officer of the County, as enumerated in A.R.S. § 11-401, and pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-409, such an enumerated County Officer may appoint deputies and assistants with the consent of the Board of Supervisors.
