8. OFFICIAL APPOINTMENTS AND OATHS OF OFFICE - COUNTY ATTORNEY Pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-409, approve the official appointment of the following assistants of the Maricopa County Attorney. Authorize the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to certify the Official Appointment and Oaths of Office in accordance with A. R. S. § 38-231, and to cause them to be filed with the County Recorder. Effective October 18, 2010: Marita Gishi, Legal Support Assistant Darlene Harrison, Legal Support Assistant Effective November 1, 2010: Selma Beathea, Legal Support Assistant, Christopher Diba, Legal Support Assistant Angela Endicott, Legal Support Assistant Angelina Pangilinan, Legal Support Assistant Samantha Tonto, Legal Support Assistant Jana Sorensen, Deputy County Attorney Kristen Vallarta, Legal Support Assistant The County Attorney is an Officer of the County, as enumerated in A.R.S. § 11-401, and pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-409, such an enumerated County Officer may appoint deputies and assistants with the consent of the Board of Supervisors.
