10. ACCEPT DONATION FROM SCOTTSDALE HEALTHCARE Accept the restricted monetary donation in the amount of $2,500.00 from Scottsdale Healthcare. This donation is to fund the support of the County Attorney's "My Message" drug and alcohol abuse prevention program. The funding is to be used specifically to purchase incentives that will be awarded to contest winners. The "My Message" program invites teenagers to produce short videos with their personal message for drug and alcohol abuse awareness. Scottsdale Healthcare, a Level I Trauma Center, is actively involved in injury prevention. Since alcohol and drug abuse are leading causes of trauma injuries, they support programs like "My Message" that benefit the community. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations, and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this action requested does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-19-12-040-D-00)
