8. AGREEMENT WITH SANDY CORRAL FOR FORENSIC SEXUAL ASSAULT AND SEXUAL ABUSE INVESTIGATIONS INVOLVING MINORS Approve an agreement with Sandy Corral to conduct forensic examinations that will aid in the investigation and prosecution of sexual assault and sexual abuse of minor children. The term of the agreement begins effective October 1, 2012, and terminates September 30, 2014. Sandy Corral will provide forensic interviews of minor children who are victims of sexual abuse and sexual assault, gather evidence for use in the investigation of criminal cases and prosecution of offenders, and provide expert testimony upon request. Authorize the Chairman to sign any and all documents related to this action. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office has had similar agreements with other forensic interviewers in the past. These services are vital to the investigation, apprehension, and prosecution of perpetrators of child sexual assault and abuse. (C-19-13-012-3-00)
