12. ACCEPT FUNDING FROM STATE OF ARIZONA Pursuant to Laws 2013, Chap. 1, Sec. 6, 51st Legislature, 1st Special Session, H.B. 2001, approve the receipt of $200,000 for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office from the State of Arizona Department of Administration to enforce immigration related matters and the provisions of Title 23, Chapter 2, Article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes. This funding is effective July 1, 2013 and is exempt from the provisions of A.R.S. 35-190, relating to lapsing of appropriations. This funding is not a grant, but rather a direct appropriation received from the State of Arizona through the Arizona Department of Administration. The Department of Finance has established an indirect cost recovery rate of 13.9% for the County Attorney's Office. In accordance with Maricopa County grant policy, the County Attorney will recover 13.9% in indirect costs from this funding, totaling $24,407. This funding does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. (C-19-14-021-G-00)
