9. OFFICIAL APPOINTMENTS AND OATHS OF OFFICE Pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-409, approve the official appointment of the following deputies and assistants of the Maricopa County Attorney. Authorize the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to certify the Official Appointment and Oaths of Office in accordance with A. R. S. § 38-231. Effective December 16, 2013 Martha Comstock, Legal Support Assistant James Jue, Deputy County Attorney Brandy Velarde, Paralegal Effective December 23, 2013 Debra Mori, Legal Support Assistant Joan Olson, Background Investigative Assistant Willie Price, Background Investigative Assistant Sabrina Rayo, Paralegal Effective January 6, 2014 Marilee Beeler, Paralegal Katarina Gagic, Paralegal Camille Jara, Legal Support Assistant Mary Marshall, Community Affairs Supervisor John Tutelman, Deputy County Attorney The County Attorney is an Officer of the County, as enumerated in A.R.S. § 11-401, and pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-409, such an enumerated County Officer may appoint deputies and assistants with the consent of the Board of Supervisors.
