12. EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION PACKAGE: ADDITIONAL LEAVE, AND LEAVE ACCRUAL ADJUSTMENT Approve an Executive Compensation Package (ECP) for Jon Eliason, a classified Deputy County Attorney in the County Attorney's Office, authorizing a deposit of 80 hours of paid vacation leave and 40 hours of paid sick leave to his leave balance(s) effective February 18, 2014. Additionally, adjust his leave accrual rate to that of Schedule 4 (Vacation: 7.9 hours per pay period, and Sick: 2.3 hours per pay period) as this employee comes to Maricopa County with 13 years in the Arizona State Retirement System. If approved, the ECP agreement will authorize a deposit of 80 hours of vacation leave and 40 hours of sick leave into the employee’s leave balances, and establish a leave accrual rate commensurate with 13 years of ASRS service (7.9 hours per pay period of Vacation and 2.3 hours per pay period of Sick. This action is effective February 18, 2014 and is necessary as a part of the hiring agreement and was necessary to recruit and retain a qualified individual to fill this role within the organization.
