13. ONE TIME CONTINGENCY REQUEST FOR BUDGET ADJUSTMENT a) Decrease the expenditure authority for the Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) Other Programs (4712) in the line "Elected Official and Judicial Branch Unmet Personnel Savings from Chairman's Budget Balancing Adjustment " by an amount not-to-exceed $643,880; b) Increase the expenditure authority in the County Attorney’s (190) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) by an amount not-to-exceed $643,880. These actions will have a County-wide net impact of zero and they do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. Approval of this action will allow County Attorney to meet their FY 2014 budget as adjusted for reduced vacancy savings and contract personnel services which were not realized. Due to high workload demands nearly all vacant County Attorney positions are filled. In addition, many state and federal grant awards for FY 2014 were less than the actual costs associated with the positions and these shortfalls were transferred to the County Attorney general fund. These funds were set aside for this purpose in the FY 2014 Non Recurring budget. (C-19-14-052-2-00)
